Design Patents
Design patents offer protection for new and creative models and designs. The owner of a registered design patent can claim damages from anyone who imitates his design claim to cease and desist from infringing actions and for damage compensation.
Various options for design patent protection are available at present:
- German and foreign national design patents
- International design patents under the Hague Agreement for the International Registration of Industrial Designs
- European Community designs
